The break did little good as the riders took off on a short decent before they hit the mother of all hills. The pace slowed to almost a stop. First off was Keith followed quickly by Matt. It was a very slow climb to the top for the rest of the group. Keith managed to get back on his bike and was smart enough to grab the side of TK’s Prado and get a lift to the top. Only the support crew managed to enjoy the view of Somerset as the rest struggled to gain breath and in some cases consciousness. Matt looked like he needed Dr Ash but recovered for a team shot before everybody shot off all down hill to Kilcoy.
