In 2008 a team of McDonald’s owner operators and McDonald’s corporate staff joined forces to create a Queensland Charity Bike Ride to raise funds for Ronald McDonald houses in Queensland (fondly referred to as the ‘Ride For Sick Kids’).
This group set out from Gympie and traveled 500km down to the Gold Coast and back to Brisbane in August.
Through the amazing support of business partners and local community, what started out as a goal to raise $50,000 has ended in $300,000 being raised in 2 years of rides.
